May Newsletter

First and most importantly, we'd like to start out by saying:

Black. Lives. Matter.

Thousand Faced Theatre has always and will always be committed to representing diverse voices and communities with the pieces that we produce to help improve the deficiencies in our realm of theatre. In recent days it has become ever more clear that, though a noble pursuit, the issues of racism permeating our society extend much farther than our community and industry of theatre and demand attention. We at TFTC, not only as a company, but as individuals, will continue to stand in solidarity with the black community and all minorities in the fight against police brutality and racism at large. It has forever been the ugliest blemish on our society and cannot be allowed to continue any longer. "Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced."                                                                                             - James Baldwin

Dandelion: An Original Musical

In similar fashion to last month's newsletter, we wanted to showcase another show we've been working on that has been interrupted in the wake of a global pandemic. If you've been keeping up with our instagram account (@thousandfacedtheatre) you will have seen us posting a series of behind-the-scenes videos with the cast and crew of Dandelion: An Original Musical that take a look into the process of creating a brand new musical. Below we've collected them all in one place for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Colleen Francis: Composer and Lyricist of Dandelion

Hailee Beltzhoover: Collaborator and Jane in Dandelion

Brenden Kyle: Jordan in Dandelion

Lillie Ricciardi: Gabbie in Dandelion

Thank you for reading yet another quarantine edition of the TFTC Newsletter, as always we hope you stay happy and healthy in the days to come. Until next time!

Best Wishes,

TFTC
